The Ultimate Tool for Nostalgic Gaming!
The GameBoy brought us portable gaming in the palm of our hands. The GameBoy Pocket just made it more portable (hence the name). The GameBoy Color brought more vividness and colors in our gaming experience. Then came the GameBoy Advance; with its 32bit gaming processor and a better experience in playing games. The GameBoy Advance SP is the prime of all these consoles. You have this portable, clam-shell console that can not only play GBA cartridges, but virtually every single Nintendo GameBoy video game in existence! The light-up screen provides a bonus for night-owl gamers who need to game before sleep. The Graphite model is a beautiful addition to the GameBoy Advance SP family. With its brighter, backlit screen (model AGS-101), the colors of the game come more alive and vivid to the player. There are only a couple of flaws in its design. The first major issue would be the lack of a main audio-out plug; without a special adapter, you cannot use regular headphones in case you want to game in private. The other flaw would be the form factor; the GameBoy Advance was wider in shape, and that provided a more controller-like feel to it, putting your hands in a comfortable position. Since the SP is a longer, clam-shell model, the comfort is not as noticeable. Still, if there was a console that could play every GameBoy game in any condition, it would be the GameBoy Advance SP. With the brighter screen, the Graphite model (or any other AGS-101 model) outdoes any other GameBoy out there in the market!

Perfectly Orchestrated; My First True Anime
.hack//SIGN was a show I saw for the first time on Cartoon Network really late at night (Saturday). The first episode I saw made no sense to me, but I still kept watching. Then the show made more sense to me when I read about it. A show where one's consciousness is trapped in a game? I loved the idea behind it! Today, .hack//SIGN is still my all-time favorite anime, and after I found the complete collection from a (wonderful) seller on eBay, I was ecstatic! This was the first true anime I watched, and this was the one that got me into the genre. The plot is incredible; the story moves a little slow, but gradually speeds up. Yuki Kajiura, the music composer for this show, was flawless in the music she made and where to place which song where. With more .hack shows out now (LEGEND OF TWILIGHT, Roots, LIMINALITY), I still believe SIGN outperforms them all (LIMINALITY being a close second favorite). Any fan of MMORPG gaming, or incredible celtic music, has to watch this series. Also, if you are starting out on the .hack francise, start with the INFECTION games and then this show, as it will make more sense to you later on. Thank you very much for reading; I really appreciate it. -Elk

A nice, mellow grunge sound; this IS music!
The Bends by Radiohead would be my fifth album from the British rock band. Having liked some of their masterpieces like 'Hail to the Thief', 'In Rainbows', and 'OK Computer', I purchased this album expecting a similar sound. I was wrong. From the first song, "Planet Telex", I was astonished by the mellow rock sounds Radiohead managed to produce. I fell in love with 'The Bends'; grunge music never sounded so good. If anybody downloads music from those P2P networks (which I highly disagree with), then at least don't download Radiohead's music; BUY THE MUSIC YOU LISTEN TO! It will be worth every penny, and then some.
