What I've always been looking for!
I work from home on a laptop. I'm a big fan of the simplicity you get from a laptop, the lack of clutter, neat deskspace. However I always keep a window with a movie or TV show, or some podcast running and I've NEVER liked my options for doing so. A window open ON the laptop's monitor is forever being covered and or covering your other windows while an external monitor leads to lots more used deskspace, extra cables everywhere and a crick in your neck from looking left all day.
I've thought of my smartphone or tablet but never found a suitable dock plus with ANY of these solutions you can't just pick up your laptop and move in the other room. I do this a lot.
I've had the Mountie for about a month now and I love it.
I carry my laptop all over the house and it's never let go, even in landscape mode. Also Holds my tablet well. I use it all day with an iPhone6Plus and an Old Kindle. I've tried a Samsung Galaxy Edge in it and an iPad mini which both feel just as solid.
