Not well suited for DSLR
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a nice tripod for the money however it is probably better suited for those seeking to use with a larger video camera and not a DSLR for still photography only. My bad. I had to fabricate a spacer to raise the camera high enough to be able to tighten the quick release clamping screw. The screws have lever type knobs that hit the camera or the two handles used to repostion the head. The spacer and removal of one of the handles make it just usable for my needs. I have since purchased a ball head tripod that is much handier.
