Little brother
I already had it's bigger brother, the 135mm 2.0 DC, so I knew what I was in for. It's so sharp on my Nikon D800E that I can crop into details you wouldn't believe was there. The DC function is amazing. When shooting portraits it's possible to isolate a face completely from the background, even at f/5.6. The bokeh is very pleasing and the lens is more handy when it comes to tight situations compared to it's sibling. I use it for landscape shooting as well and the amount of detail it reveals is outstanding. There is of course no focus motor in the lens so you must have a body with a "screw drive". The lens has NO linear distortion just like it's bigger brother. This is probably the sharpest 105mm lens Nikon has ever manufactured. They are still making it today but you never know. It's all metal with a built-in shade. Go buy it today, tomorrow may be to late. And buy it's bigger brother at the same time.
Do I like it? Yes!

Great fun to make
I will enjoy building it. And I will have to add space for my Big Boy by lengthening one of the tracks in some way.
