Bushings are very cheap and shatter easily
The pins work perfectly once we drilled out the old ones. The problem is that the bushings included in the Dorman kit are terrible. They are extremely cheap and brittle, so it's easy to shatter them trying to put them in. It's a ton of work to remove the door and drill out the old pins - why install crappy bushings? I can't see how this would save Dorman much cost vs just supplying four high quality bushings.
