good battery for my Nikon S3000
I picked up the Nikon a few weeks ago, only one battery and a strange system of charging it through the camera. With this battery and another plus charger I'm good to go for use on a trip.

KK266+ motherboard
I have used IWill motherboards for many years, find them to be reliable workhorse devices. Unfortunately the KK266+ is getting out of date, although my main desktop still uses one of these and AMD Athlon 1.4 GHz processor, with which I am writing this review. I have standardized on Athlon processors to simplify my parts supply, so also have 3 Abit AN-7 (my current favorite) and an Asus of similar vintage.
Good news is that the KK266+ is pretty reliable, although I had one self-destruct probably due to a shorted capacitor. It seems important to keep the motherboards cool to avoid cooking the capacitors so I tend to run without side panels on the cases when I can.
Bad news is that they support only 1GB of RAM and are on the slow side by modern standards. Only one of 3 purchased on eBay turned out to be functional, so watch what you buy. They also support only parallel IDE drives which a normal windows install limits to 132 GB, the newer SATA boards I have all use 500GB drives, which seem more than I really need.

Nice external HDD
Nice little external hard drive. Works well, although seems a bit flimsy with thin plastic covers. WD seems a reliable brand, more so than Hitachi.
