Caline CP-12 Overdrive Pedal - Heck of a Deal!
I have tried numerous Overdrive pedals over the past few years, including Tube Screamers, modified Rats, Bad Monkey, etc. etc. A friend of mine had picked up one of these CP-12 pedals, and I was impressed with the sound and bought one.
It is a great pedal, even if it were more expensive (but it's relatively cheap at $40!). I like the overall sound and tone, which is a nice controllable Overdrive, rather than a Distortion pedal. It also does NOT have a lot of compression like so many other pedals do. The sound seems more "lively", so to speak. I also like that it has both Treble and Bass controls, which have a nice range. I put it on my board and used it for band practice last week, and the guys in the band liked the sound as well, compared to the Bad Monkey I had been using. They said it sounded "brighter" and "not muddy"
In summary, and good pedal and great value.

409 4-ever
I always said that "hell froze over" when Edelbrock introduced the 409 aluminum heads! These are well made (good machining, good parts), have good valve size and port flow, reduce engine weight and look cool as heck. Too bad everything from Edelbrock is so difficult to get these days, hope they get it sorted out sooner than later.

Cheap unit, cheaply built.
Well, sometimes you get what you pay for, and this unit did not cost much. It is cheaply built, and does not seem to stay tuned on the stations very well. Not sure how long it will actually last!
