It does work with Windows 10!
1 of 1 found this helpful Unlike the other review, I had no problem at all using this with my Surface 2 Pro running the latest version of Windows 10. After snapping the keyboard onto the tablet for the first time, I had to wait about 2 minutes for the drivers to install and for the Surface Music Kit app to install. After that, I ran the app and everything worked perfectly.
It is important to know that the app and the keyboard are symbiotic; one can't really exist without the other. They were designed to work together; no other software will work with the keyboard and I think licensing the app is physically tied to having the keyboard. So I thought I would give impressions of the app as well as the keyboard, since it's the only app for which you can use it.
I only got to play with the app for an hour so far, and I'm no music expert, but I found this keyboard attachment very intuitive to use with the app. The app itself has a limited amount of loops, but enough to mix and remix sounds, experiment with tempos, and other fun music creation stuff that's above my ability. You can also import sound files to use as loops when you get tired of the stock loops. And, just as importantly, you can export your creations as MP3 files.
Bottom line - great keyboard, great app, works in Windows 10!
