Should have been included in the base game.
This is a great expansion that greatly enhances the variety and replayability of the base set, adding many more cards to an already great game. The included Ancient One is very tough to beat and the whole expansion raises the difficulty of the game.
In my opinion this should have been part of the base set from the start, if after a few games you find yourself drawing the same cards over and over this expansion will solve the problem.
A must buy for every Eldritch Horror fan.
