Milwaukee getting into IT tools
When you first see the tool, it is such a bright red plastic that it looks kinda fragile - almost toylike. But it is sturdier than it looks. I accidentally dropped it from about 3 and a half feet onto a concrete floor and nothing happened.
There is an adjustment knob for the type of cable you are stripping. I have been using it with CAT5e and have it set a little loose around the cable. Still, it makes a clean cut with a very sharp blade and has not nicked any of the twisted pairs so far.
If it came in different colors, I would get another one and set it up for CAT6a

Nice little wire stripper.
1 of 1 found this helpful Felo is a German company that makes quality screwdrivers so I thought I'd take a chance on this wire stripper. Although made of plastic with some metal parts, it feels solidly made and the stripping action is very smooth. I deducted one star because there is no way to lock the stripper in a more compact form for carrying it around when not in use. It just stays open and takes up more space than it should.
Plus it is a bright red with yellow trim to easily find it in my tool bag.
