- a***a (38)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseThe seller clearly is a cycling enthusiast and cares for there equipment. The bike frame was exceptionally well-packed and well-taken care of. The photos documented it all very clearly and in fact it even looks better in person. It was shipped very quickly and arrived in timely manner. Lastly, the original owners tags/manuals and stickers were also included. So excited to build this up.

Very accurate depiction of the real thing.
1 of 1 found this helpful Very difficult to build without doing one of the others in the lineup. In most cases, a lot of scraping, drilling and sanding is essential to a successful build. There are tricks, like having clamps and rubber bands available to both glue and align things like the heads and intake to the block. I had to deviate from the directions to get parts fit properly, or align parts correctly. The biggest issue with all three kits is the spark plug wire. The tubing is shiny red and made from vinyl. They take this length of vinyl and fold it up and tie it up like an afterthought. Very difficult to get the tubing to conform smoothly. Mine had kinks in it due to the careless packaging. I used 22 gauge stranded wire with the strand removed. The tubing is made from silicone, so not shiny and much friendlier to proper wiring. This makes the model much more realistic. The photos show my first attempt when I built it 11 years ago; alongside this one, which I just completed it.

Telescoping tubes
much thinner walls than comparable Plastruct tubing of this size

Very accurate and well executed
The graphics on this piece are excellent and the placement of the engine in the bay is very accurate, better than most other Hemi pieces I have, or seen. Overall it's a great example of the 1970 GTX model.
