The minifigure seems to be original
1 of 1 found this helpful My lego-enthusiast son has a penchant for rare Lego minifigures and apparently the community does as well as any "out of production" Lego set containing this Harry Potter character from the first book/movie was pricing out above $80. This for a set that couldn't have been more than $15 in the early 2000's when it was released. Both he and I assumed this minifigure would be one that was assembled with other Lego pieces that wouldn't quite match the original. Especially in the facial expressions. It may be but we were not able to tell how. The most important feature to him was that the opposite face would resemble that of Voldemort which is the main feature. My son didn't expect the face to even be there. It was and seemed to match the photos we saw of the minifigure from the original set. I should note that this minifigure was purchased as a toy, not a collectible item and for that purpose it exceeded our expectations.
