Worked well on 6061-T6 AL and plywoods.
At first I was skeptical of Drill Hog. I purchased the 3-7/8"carbide hole saw. And I put it to the test. I knew with the carbide teeth it would have no problem cutting through wood, but I wanted to put it through a real test. So I cut a hole in a 1/4" 6061-T6 aluminum plate (aka. airplane aluminum). And it didn't have a problem cutting through it. I wasn't interested in the hole it cut, but instead the cutout was my interest. I used a 1/3 HP bench top drill press. It took me about 3 minutes to cut through using this holesaw. The cutout and the remaining plate was warm, but not hot. I was able to hold the cut out in my bare hand without a problem. And the holesaw was room temperature. Even the carbide teeth were room temperature and the only coolant I used was WD-40. In addition to this, it doesn't come with an arbor or collar, but it had no problem using a Milwaukee arbor and collar. Lastly, I did use it to cut through pine and birch plywood and it had no problem cutting through them. The finish on the plywood was great. The finish on the airplane aluminum was good, it need a regular clean up with a deburing tool and emery paper, which is common when anyone does any metal work.

A small book that is good for study and refresher
2 of 2 found this helpful The best part of 1001 Solved Engineering Fundamentals Problems is that the book is laid out where one can read and answer the questions easily without writing several pages of calculations. If you need a small book that doesn't take up a lot of space and need to a refresher on almost every engineering topic, this is the book.

Far more reliable than generic table saws
3 of 3 found this helpful I've had this table saw now for 9 months and it's still going strong. What I like about it is that the miter gauge and push stick are in arms reach and cant easily be obtained. I've used too many generic table saws where the height and angle adjuster changes during start up and operation that I appreciate that the height adjuster and angle stay at the prescribed positions. I also like that the the entire table saw can be easily collapsed and rolled away. Many other contractor table saws make the legs separate, which one better not misplace such.
I can't give this table saw a 5 out of 5 rating for two reasons. Firstly, the laser doesn't work. After changing out the batteries three times it doesn't turn on, so either the switch or the laser isn't working. And secondly, the welds on the legs's cross bars are uneven globs of steel rather than they should look like more like a knocked over stack of dimes.
Despite those two flaws, it's a much better table saw than others on the market.
