Battery prob

I love the kindle, it's terrific. I'm not sure if it was 'good value' ... I feel it was quite expensive. However my main concern is that I read that the battery lasted 'weeks' when in fact it only lasts a couple of days. However I'm glad I bought it. Sincerely, Gaby Hughes
