Bringing the past back to life...

Let's be clear...... the recordings on this CD have been lifted from tapes, so dont expect perfection. This is a wonderful historic record of the early days of a band that were still finding their sound, at the time. Early demo versions and live recordings of classic, well loved tracks that we are all familiar with. I found the content of this CD fascinating, and captivating. It reminds me of going to pubs and clubs, and listening to bands nobody has heard of...bands that soon disappeared, and the very occasional few that did make the big time. In my view, every real Stranglers fan should own, or at least have a listen to this wonderful reminder of where it all started.
