Fully loaded effects in one package.
I was pleasantly surprise by the Zoom G5n. Having owned the Digitech RP500, I feel like the AMP and Cabinet models provided by the Zoom sound much more like the real thing when played through clean AMP or PA. But that is just the tip of the iceberg. The Zoom G5n is loaded with effects and is very flexible in how they can be strung together to get just the right sound. Not sure if I would want to use it play in front of a stadium full of fans, but I think it would make an excellent learning tool.
