Handy to quickly size metric bolts but hard to read
I bought this to quickly size metric bolts that I might need to chase the threads on, so I know what size rethreading die to use. For this it works perfectly. Well made solid metal construction that is nice and thick. The only downside to this tool is the metal is too shiny (too bright), making it hard to read the stamped sizes. The very shiny metal creates a glare under almost all lighting conditions, making it hard to read. This tool could be improved if it had a matt finish instead of shiny. I have a Craftsman SAE drill gauge that has a matt finish and it is much easier to read.
But overall I am happy with the tool. Very handy to have in the toolbox.

Work as advertised
1 of 1 found this helpful What can you say about these things? They are simple metal bars with what looks like a porcelain coating. They do wear out with use, this is my 4th set that I've had to replace over about 20 years. I have also bought the stainless steel ones (non-Weber) that you can find on eBay but they wear out, too. They all rust away over time no matter what they are made of. So just consider that these bars are a maintenance item that you have to replace periodically. They will not last forever.

Fixed a P0031 code
This fixed a P0031 code in my 2004 Subaru Impreza STI. Although the price of these sensors seems high for what they are. I doubt if the cost to manufacture this part is anywhere near what they retail for.
