Tail pipe scrapes but it handles great!
1 of 1 found this helpful A bit too bouncy for daily driving but just with the front springs the car's handling is much improved and it gets rid of the 3" fender gap. Front 1.6" is good, 1.75" would be perfect, a 2" in the rear is too low, the on the 2006 Matrix the tailpipe scrapes.

Oiled but effective!
I did not really want an oiled filter because the mass air sensor has to be cleaned frequently, but I can definitely feel the improvement in performance during acceleration. Its a very tight fit and you cant put the box cover unless you cut the rubber triangular guides.
