Great music, silly film.
Not liking the Beatles is like not liking the sun. It's good to own the Beatles Help DVD finally.

I should know ~ I wrote it.
It's nice to see my CD on Ebay for sale. This CD took 30 years to write and four months to record in a studio in Oak Bay, Victoria area of BC in the Fall of 2010. One can hear samples of this album all over the internet, but your best bet is to go to ReverbNation and put in Retrospect ~ that way you can hear all the songs yourself. There are no gimmicky computer additions as the whole CD was done using the talents of fifteen different musicians. If you like this style, you'll like this CD. I never did promote this CD or the songs on it, nor did I go out to perform these songs until recently. If I were to do this CD again, I would probably drop a few of the tunes, but many others seem to hold their weight through the years. Cheers, from Glen Mofford.

I May be prejudice, as I wrote this book.
This is my debut book about the non-fiction history of the saloons and hotel-bars of Victoria, BC Canada from 1851 to prohibition in 1917. It may be of interest to those who live in BC, but some Americans, especially those interested in early American history, may like the connection to California - especially to San Francisco. Washington and Oregon Territories are also mentioned in this book. But it's mostly about the saloons and hotel of early Victoria - the suicides, murders, fights and a lot of good stuff that really took place in the growing city. From the gold rush to prohibition, it's all here and fully illustrated folks, with over 75 photographs, maps and illustrations. A real bargain and it's not even been out for a month yet.
