Useless piece of equipment for devote Nikon fans
You're paying for this because you are a Nikon fan and want to pimp your camera, not because you need it. It is expensive and as useful as the plastic hot shoe cover that comes with your camera which you can get for 50 cents. Even a third party metal hot shoe camera offer more for less money: more colors, materials and designs. Nothing beats the satisfaction for a fan of opening an original Nikon product made in Japan.

Some say this is the worst Nikon lens ever, but nonetheless you can get creative and take some creative and fun shots with it just for the sake of it!

Build quality is superb, it's a big chunk of metal and glass.
Image quality it's all soft with a lot of CA.
This lens is useful just for playing around, you could accomplish the same with a more competent lens and some light edits but this is a beautiful piece of metal and glass that just feels fun to play with!
