It works well for the intended purpose.
The units successfully communicated with each other. The resulting remote phone connection has a small amount of "noise" and mild "hum", but our remote unit is plugged in on another floor of the house from the base unit, and at the far end of the house. So, they're a bit far apart. We needed this phone connection for a fax machine, however, and that mild line noise does not seem to affect the quality or reliability of the fax being sent. However, if we were needing it for a phone connection, it would be less than ideal with that noise, but still usable.

This is a great PC case
2 of 2 found this helpful I especially like how the HDD bays face outward!. Also the holding clips for the 5.25 in. front bay drives are brilliantly designed.
