After receipt of this product, I tested it. The included (still sealed) 9V battery was so low on power that I had to get another battery. I tried both a used standard 9V and a new Energizer Lithium 9v, but the results demonstrate that this product is not just miscalibrated, it is inconsistent in its readings. In other words, it is garbage. I do not recommend this product to anyone from any seller. Mine is going in the garbage.

3 of 3 found this helpful Other than the lack of any instructions in the package, which are required in order to actually accomplish the transfer, I'm happy. I resolved this by downloading the software from the Acronis website, and finding the instructions on the PNY website.
The fact that it comes with a serial number for the Acronis software was more than I'd hoped for, and that I could transfer everything, including the boot sector, from my old drive to my PNY 1TB SATA 3 SSD using the software and the provided cable (which includes LED indicators) makes it an amazing deal!
Although the website indicated that the SATA 3 SSD might not work with my SATA 1 port, I have had no problems whatsoever, which allowed me to double my storage space and be rid of the problem of an almost full drive because of programs. Thus, there is more virtual memory and my computer is more stable and faster. I'm quite pleased and I hope that it'll last a long time!
