Not heavy duty
I was very disappointed when I extracted this throne from its packaging. It was advertised as "heavy duty", and it was anything but. I have an old "sound percussion" throne that is amazingly heavy, and absolutely bullet proof, and this Gibraltar throne looked similar, so I made an assumption that it would be, too. Nothing could be further from the truth. It is constructed of flimsy, light gauge tubing, and the bracing is light as well. I weigh 140 pounds soaking wet, and I could feel it teetering. Not confidence inspiring at all. The padding was a bit uncomfortable as well. You may be wondering why I didn't just get another SP throne? As far as I can tell, the company doesn't exist any more. I don't understand the glowing reviews of this throne. I found it way too flimsy to be called "heavy duty".

Rogers Swivomatic drive strap!
These are exactly like originals. I felt like I had traveled back in time.
