Deep Black Waterproof Ink Resists Markers and Erasers
I draw with brush and steel-point pen, then color the drawing with alcohol-based markers. I've had a hard time finding an ink that is deep black, resists erasing, and won't be lifted/smeared by markers. I tried Deleter Black 4 after reading online reviews. I'm very pleased.
This waterproof ink dries to a smooth, dense matte black. There is no sheen. It flows easily from both brush and pen. The ink stands up well to both plastic and kneaded erasers. 95% of the time alcohol-based markers won't lift it. However I've found that when I use a croquill pen I need to give the ink time to "set" after it dries to the touch. If I color too soon the ink smears slightly.
It's a small bottle but the price is reasonable for what you get. I do wish it came in larger sizes. By the way there are numerous Deleter manga inks and each has very different characteristics. Do your research to find the one that meets your needs.
