Well respected standard that is a good reference book for engineers

The text is a well-respected standard that is very useful, both for students and for practicing engineers. I would say that the edition is a little outdated since it is based on the AISC 2005 Specification and currently we are two editions beyond that (AISC 360-16). That said, it is still very useful in explaining concepts. Of course, if you need to understand the philosophies and techniques behind the older code, this is very helpful (had to do that this week, in fact).

Universal approach -- based on design and the business of design -- to management and branding.

While tailored to the design and construction industry, I find that it is pertinent to a variety of professions. I have become an evangelist of sorts. I have given a copy to an architect, a baker/owner of a pie shop, a graphic designer, and most recently an administrator at a research university who is struggling to wrangle all the colleges into one -- One University. BTW I am a structural engineer at a semiconductor factory in a network espouses removal of variance. Arthur Gensler is a phenomenon who is willing to share -- raising the level of all boats in the industry as it were. Excellent telling of the life experience of industry leader organized the adept hand of Michael Lindenmayer. I cannot recommend this any higher.
