Bachman AC power requirements for switches

I purchased this product to control the rail switches on HO Bachman track. This is one of the intended purposes for this product. It works extremely well from my initial observations. Bachman switches require an AC source so my recommendation to anyone using Bachman switches is to use the Bachman power supply. Because I am using an alternate supply for my track (which is also an intended use for this product) I cannot give a review on that aspect.
