Good Quality for the type of machine.
I had doubts about this mini lathe since they mostly have dubious reviews but I took a chance anyway. This particular lathe arrived in very good condition. It was shipped in a wooden box and the lathe was attached to the box so it didn't rattle around. The shipper (fedex) worked it over pretty good and it arrived laying on its side but was still in good shape even though the box suffered from handling.
I set the lathe up and gave it a try. I will be using it for steel and immediately made two larger steel bushings with it and it worked fine. You can't take a lot of material off at once with steel on these smaller lathes, not because they are a bad lathe, but they are just a small lathe, with a small motor. All in all though it worked very well, I got my bushings made and am very happy with the results. I will use this lathe to make my own larger metal lathe and milling machines plus a variety of other machinery I have need for.
Very happy with the purchase, no problems with it at all.
