"Surprised Us"
3 of 4 found this helpful For a refurb item that means to me that something was wrong with them and they were returned for whatever reasons. So I took chance and bought one which surprised me that they worked so well beyond expectations that I immediately bought another one for my wife. Now we can each listen to different sound sources since they plug into just about anything with an audio output jack. And there are no more "sound wars" between me and my wife turning up the volume trying to drown the other one out so we can hear the programs. She listens to books on her boom box and at the same time I watch Netflix movies. For the price, as long as you don't expect perfect sound quality they can not be beat.

Low Cost Collectible Addition
If you are not looking for originality this reproduction will do. Since the originals are expensive and hard to find I buy reproduction boxes and manuals to complete my collection. If I ever sell them. I will note that they are reproductions and as long as you are honest it shouldn't be a problem. After all the guns are original and that's what counts.

Lots of Reference Material/Gun Values Low
I am not a gun dealer. I do have a small gun collection. I bought this book as a price guide to help me when I am buying for my collection. I have compared the listed prices and actual selling prices online, at local gun shops and at shows and have found overall that the book prices are considerably lower than what is selling in my local market. The values do give you a baseline in which to work with and something keep in mind when shopping. The reference material is invaluable with the history of the manufactures, date and specification of each and every gun made. I was able to date some of my collection using the data provided in the book. For someone starting out collecting or seriously interested in firearms and their history I would recommend this book.
