Doesn't work for my Mustang
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this product for my 2011 Mustang Convertible to replace the old prop.
I paid to have this professionally installed. The end result after installation was; there is a gap from 1/4" at the front of the vehicle to 1/2" near the windshield.
The cause are the black brackets which are necessary.
What a waste of money for the installation as well as the return.

Fits 2011 Mustang Convertible
I just had this part installed by the mechanic. This fits my 2011 Ford Mustang Convertible. You cant use the coupe part because the Convertible has more wiring.
I am only using this vehicle 1x per week right now with limited use of the trunk.
Quiet operation more so than the original.

Looks good but too thin to really be of any value
It is too thin to be of any real help to avoid chipping. I got it because I needed the grey color which I could not find elsewhere. I guess I will just by a better product in black somewhere else.
You must be patient when installing this product. While it seems very easy, if you don't go slow and steady pulling the red tape off to expose the adhesive it can get messed up quickly.
If it was a larger gauge, the installation, protection and fit would be great!
2 weeks already and I see it starting to come off.
The rubber is better than the plastic but this is all that is going for it.
