Excellent value, high quality and very good performance.
This is a very quiet, high quality air pump with very good performance. The volume of air it pushes out is most impressive. I have had it for only a few weeks but am already very impressed by its build quality and performance. I have been using a bigger model - the LP-50 - in my aerated septic tank system for about 5 years now without any problems. Both models are excellent value for money. Perhaps not as robustly built as the Hi-Blow air pumps but those cost more than twice as much as the Resun pumps. I would recommend this pump (and also the LP-50) and would buy it/them again.

Great price. Well made. Higher line capacity = less frequent line loading.
Great price. Sturdy construction - feels really solid and well made. A great advantage of the W5 is that it holds a generous amount of line which means fewer interruptions to load line. Very easy to load line - certainly no more difficult than the "regular" genuine SpeedFeed unit and its after-market copycats (bit of which I have used). The fixed in place spring on the cover is a good feature - I've lost a couple of springs in other spedfeed heads when the cover cam off during use so hopefully that won't happen with my W5.

An excellent trimmer line. Highly recommended.
3 of 3 found this helpful An excellent trimmer line (and I've tried a quite few) and good value to boot. It's very strong, resilient to breaks and wear and highly effective. It a veryy good complement to the Honda W5 speedfeed trimmer head on my Honda UMK425 - a really awesome, effective and efficient combination for any job from a small garden to days-long clearing on acreage. This purchase was to restock as I've used almost of the 2Kg bulk roll I bought a while ago.
2.7mm diameter line is sufficient form requirements but you may want to use the 3.0mm diameter line of you have really heavy duty clearing to do that doesn't warrant steel cutting blades or where cutting blades are not suitable (or too dangerous to use.
You may also opt for the Honda UMK435 (35cc engine) which has more power (but a little heavier) than my UMK425 (25cc engine) which has been a pleasure to use - it's about 6 years old but still starts with one effortless pull of the starter cord 99% of the time - and never more than 3-4 pulls ever !! Add to that it's a 4-stroke engine so no cumbersome oil mixing !! Simply amazing machine !!
