Works as promised

Successfully read, written and formatted both 720KB (DD) and 1440KB (HD) discs. Works perfectly with recent Linux versions (CentOS 6, Ubuntu 14), as well as in Windows 10 and XP. Very good value for its price.

A simple way to have additional USB ports, if your motherboard provides the necessary headers. Cables are of sufficient length to reach the headers from the back of the box.

Lightweight, good sound quality

Excellent compatibility with my PC's sound card, very good sound quality when used as near-field mike. The cable could be a bit longer, but it's easy to extend it using a standard adapter without any noticeable effect on the sound quality.
