Great Solution; no instructions
1 of 1 found this helpful I am very happy with this replacement shift boot and e-brake cover solution. It is of exceptional quality in craftsmanship and fit, however it takes a community of craftsmen to install. There are no instructions included so you are on your own to get it to fit. (I used youtube for ideas) The shifter boot fit right out of the package. The e-brake boot gave me ulcers. I had to ask a friend of mine who does upholstery to staple the leather tabs onto the plastic frame to recreate the factory model of attachment. I had to soak the e-brake top boot in water to soften the leather enough to get it to slip over the metal handle; I had to try several approaches to get the existing button-end plastic insert to fit to finish the e-brake. I finally used black epoxy and electricians tape to get it all to hold together. The leather is somewhat stiff compared to the original vinyl so I am still tinkering with the plastic frame at the base of the e-brake to get it to stay in place. It looks great installed, but it will take me a little bit of tinkering to achieve the final and desired result. I'm wondering if the correct solution is to simply tuck the e-brake button end leather into the handle and call it done without using the factory plastic insert.?!

Looks like a winner.
All the parts appear to be of good quality. Comparing side by side to the OEM parts I removed, I see no difference in build and fit. Each piece was individually wrapped in a heavy gauge plastic. Perfect fit and the price is very affordable; great solution for my project.
