Really detailed model of a cool ship
The LCACs used by the US Navy have always been a marvel of engineering to me, and I was thrilled to find a1/72-scale model on eBay. However, I noticed an oddity in that the US Navy version was priced higher than the JMSDF version used by Japan, even though the Japanese version is identical. So I ended up buying one of each and just need to find US Navy decals for this one.

I love the quality of these Diecast Mast...
I love the quality of these Diecast Masters Cat construction vehicles. I already have several of this one, and they’re going to have a center stage role in an open pit mine featured in the HO train layout I’m designing. I’ll just have to realistically dirty it up a bit.
