Fun in the Unicorn Sun!
2 of 2 found this helpful My son told me about this game when I picked him up from school. He played with some other kids who had brought it to school. Sounded like a fun game and I was not disappointed at all! I just enjoy quirky games and this fits in perfectly. To top it off, since it’s a card game, we can carry it with us when we travel. I heartily recommend Unstable Unicorns for a fun family game night.

Good game (not great) for a 39 and 5-year-old kid!
3 of 3 found this helpful While not the most exciting game in the world, Epic Mickey will keep your younger kids entertained. My 5-year-old and I rented this game a few months back, and he really got into playing it. I decided to go ahead and buy it, since the price was reasonable. I enjoy laying back on the couch and letting my mind slip out of gear and play before I head to bed.
There are a couple of negatives to the game, however. I have problems with the camera angle (how you view Mickey) during gameplay. Normally, the camera stays behind Mickey as you run, jump or do whatever Mickey has to do. If need be, the camera angle can be changed using the arrow key on the top of the Wii remote. Sometimes, however, the camera angle goes crazy and sits off to the side or in a really useless spot on the screen and can't be corrected with the remote. While I just have to run around a little to reset the angle, it's still a pain. The second is that at times, there seems to be no real direction to the game. Different quests keep popping up and most can be figured out easily, but some quests just don't yield an easy answer. On top of that, I don't think that all quests have to be completed to finish the game. No smooth path to finish the game.
All in all, however, I very much enjoy the game and will add it to my stack of Wii games that I probably won't sell to Game Stop any time in the near future (might even just keep it for good!).
