Belongs in the top 5 live albums of all time.
"Unshaven" may be second only to Humble Pie's "Rockin'The Fillmore" in placing the listener on-site and in the moment. It's also a sentimental favorite of mine because it took place at a local venue with local heroes manning the backline, not to mention the incendiary picking of Billy Joe's late son,Eddy. Relentlessly honest and enthusiastic, Billy Joe Shaver rocks through a staggerring collection of classic country-western songs, all of which he wrote. Indispensible and out of print.

Complete P.O.C.
1 of 1 found this helpful Totally failed at the one job I needed it to perform: break music. I ended up hooking up my phone and using Youtube.
The audio output is distorted, both line out and headphone.
I dropped it off at the Salvation Army, and felt a little guilty.

Great British Hard Rock with a twist.
Unique and satisfying Hard Rock from two Atomic Rooster alumni and another English all-star on bass. Despite the wild opener, "Jay Time," there are too many twists for this to fit snugly in the Stoner category, especially given John Du Cann and Paul Hammond's resume in early Doom Prog. The latter's great, behind-the-beat thud keeps things grounded, while the former flies high and loose on guitar and vocals. Bassist John Gustafson brings authority to both the writing and the rhythm section. A terrific album.
