Good product.
I'm pleased with the results of using this for clear, somewhat shiny accents on paper. I also spilled some and found that when used in a thick application, it dries clear and durable. "Diamond Glaze" is a bit misleading if you expect an exceptionally shiny application.

Great style but leans
After buying and assembling 5 lamps recently, I anticipated this one the most. I like the style, and decided to spend a lot more to get a better product. It is surprisingly lightweight for its size compared with other sturdy lamps I bought, but the glass shade is still substantial and the base is very heavy, which makes it more stable.
Using liquid soap on the threads of the sections of the shaft to ensure a proper fit, the pole section was assembled properly. Yet even on a hard, level surface, this lamp leans about 10%. I didn’t return it because I don’t have the time or the energy. I turn the lamp so that the angle off from plumb is least noticeable.

Good lamp and sturdy; a assembly tip
I've ordered two of these lamps, as I like the style and the light output. Some reviews mention difficulty screwing the shaft pieces together. I found that liquid hand soap worked wonders! It doesn't take much to do the trick, and the excess, if any, can be wiped up with a lightly dampened soft rag, so as not to disturb the surface treatment.
