Nothing beats the original
1 of 1 found this helpful Anyone who knows anything about gaming knows that Chrono Trigger is a classic. That is irrefutable. While you could go and buy a cheaper Playstation version of this game, even with it's glorious cutscenes, you'll soon realize how superior the SNES version really is. EVERY menu and shop window on the PSX takes 10-15 seconds to load. In an RPG such as this, that's a tremendous amount of time loss waiting on a black screen for the menu to appear for every new weapon, armor, accessory, heal, save, etc.

"Replacement" is a stretch
3 of 3 found this helpful The only thing that makes this a replacement product is that the games actually fit in the case. The plastic around the cases is paper thin and they look nothing like a legit Sega/Megadrive game case. For collectors looking for a good replica case to box out a few games look elsewhere.
