Easy to install and use
2 of 2 found this helpful This is the second time I have purchased these type of kits for two of my flashlights, unfortunately not for the right reasons. The tail cap switches of my first two both failed, one at about six months and the other at about a year. Neither one was excessively used, in fact one sat on my dresser and was only used on an occasional basis. The other was used daily and failed at about a year.
the light itself is reasonably bright and the bulb seems to last as advertised.
If it wasn't for liking the convenience of the switch I probably would not have purchased them again.

Good power but noisy
After using this for a couple of weeks I am fairly satisfied except for one problem. The fan is extremely loud and runs constantly. If you need to use it in a living area as I did, to power a 24 volt dc refrigerator on a 12 volt dc off grid system, you will probably not be happy with the noise. If used where noise is not a factor this is a good product for the price.
