Genuine Apple power cord that came in the Apple box. Good clean power.
3 of 3 found this helpful I had replaced the original with a cheap knock-off from China. That replacement worked for a while, but then my system died. I got a new hard drive and I went into the Apple store and they reloaded my OS and everything was fine. Then I went back home and plugged in my Mac and it shut down right away. So I realized the whole problem was the power cord.
I got this one for a reasonable price and it works fine and doesn't cause my Mac to short out. In the future I am always going to pay the few extra dollars and get a Genuine Apple power cord.
