Urethane Bandsaw Tires
I simply didn't know just how easy it was going to be to put new tires on my saw. The new tires came with an installation tool and some instructions that called for soaking the new ones in warm water to soften them for installation.
I left out the soaking them in warm warter step and clamped the rim to my table top and put them on cold. I ran the tool provided around the rim in both directions to relieve the tension all the way around. Everything went perfectly.
Each rim took about 10 to 12 min's to complete the change over then back on the saw and the saw back in first class shape ready for some happy sawing.
