Great extension for getting those “hard ...
Great extension for getting those “hard to reach” top fasteners on a Ram 5500 transfer case. You could slightly drop the transmission in order to get to them, but this extension allows the socket to fully engage while having just enough length and flex to get your ratchet to clear off to the side and run the fasteners up. Way faster and easier than removing everything just to drop the transmission and transfer case by a couple inches. If you’re like me, I didn’t torque down the fasteners with this extension. I just ran them up til flush, and then used a half moon wrench to put the bite on them.
