Works well, made cheaply

I've had three of these - and that's the problem! They work well, except in soft pond mud because you must press the device down over the ball. If you miss slightly, the edge of the device will push the ball further into the mud and you won't find it. The construction, in order to remain light, is made of lightweight metal which can bend and break easily - hence 3 of them over the years. They don't wear out - they break. It could be easily redesigned to last longer but then, like a ladder, you'd only ever need one of them. Its the best available

More than you might imagine!

Unusual movie. Rock Hudson as the protagonist - a "man's man". Interesting type-casting here. Several stars of that era, directed by Roger Vadim. Somewhat dated by today's standards but still worth a look.

PERSUADER (A Jack Reacher Novel) unabridged audio book on CD by LEE CHILD

More story plots than some other Reacher stories

Lee Child uses all his skills in telling a compelling story placed in an unusual USA location: Maine. Jack gets himself tangled up with gun runners, the DEA and ATF, along with some of the usual "sub-strate" criminals. Very good action and another page-turner. I've read everything from Childs and rate this an 8. If you've read other novels, you'll enjoy this one.
