Everything I wanted

I am a Cingular subscriber who travels internationally occasionally. I wanted an unlocked, quad band phone so it would work just about everywhere and I could use a local SIM if I am in one place for any amount of time. After Cingular ignored several requests--politely and cheerfully--I decided to buy what I thought I needed. This phone is just what I needed. Quad band, unlocked, plus all the software that Cingular puts on their domestic phones. So in ordinary use, this phone works right out of the box exactly like one obtained from Cingular. By now most people are familiar with the strengths and weakness of the Razr V3. I have no complaints about reception, battery life, software or ergonomics. It's a Motorola. I use it for phone only--no IM, no email, no web, no music, no games. Would never use the camera except to customize entries in the address book. So far phone very well, with the possible exception of headset volume being a little weak. Speaker is gangbusters. I like being able to download ringtones I rip and convert myself through the USB cable to my computer. Also have downloaded some of my photography to use as wall paper. The form factor still seems as cool as ever. I carry the phone in a front pants pocket and find it comfortable and easy to hear/feel the ring/vibrate. This is the basic V3, without the later enhancements and bells and whistles. I plan to use until there is something using 3G that suggests later technology is worth the investment. I am very happy with this purchase.

Sabrent 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub For iMac Slim Unibody (HB-IMCU)

Does not work

This hub does not recognize many usb devices including flash drives. Even using Sabrent AC adapter, it is unable to provide enough power to use an Apple external drive. And it is fiddly to install and remove. Very disappointed.
