Wrong size screws

The screws are the wrong size. They are too small in diameter and too long. Luckily I saved my old screws, I ran the engine for about 10 minutes after the new install with no issues. The next time I started it fuel was leaking around the new valve. I replaced the “new “ screws with my old ones and no leaks.
