Trying a SHARK upright after many MANY years with Dyson..
Replaced a 14 year old Dyson. I've never been one for uprights (not needed to be given how reliable my two dysons have been) but the well thought out and detachable nature of this shark means its the best of both worlds, stairs easy, getting under furniture easy, lightweight, seems to have good suction and extremely easy to empty.
It has moments on some rugs which require extra care, especially near the edges, the rotating mechanisms can snag. I would also make the power cable a smidge longer so that it stows at the top hook rather than falling short. But these are minor details.
I cannot testify to the reliability as I have only been using it for a couple of weeks but either way it has stiff competition in that department (see above).
So far so good, and the price with the damaged outer box is acceptable. Not sure it is worth full RRP, but that's for each person to decide.
