Not what I thought
I was disappointed in this item. Prior to ordering these items (I bought 2), I wrote to the manufacturer Kadee to inquire if the tap included in the item was a bottom tap. I need a bottom tap for the work I am doing. They assured me that it was. I purchased two of these. When they arrived I found that they contained starting taps and not bottom taps.
I contacted Kadee and they told me that they were working through some issues and that I could send them the taps and they would grind them down for me.
I appreciate the offer but the inconvenience and additional cost of mailing doesn't make it worth my while.
I'll have to look elsewhere. I'm hesitant about reordering this kadee item not knowing what will be in the envelope.
I've been a Kadee fan for years and will continue to buy their products but this glitch is disappointing.
