Homebrewing thermometer
I use this thermometer for homebrewing and it has made the job much easier. With the probe and sender outside, I can now come inside and do other things while the water or wort is heating or cooling. No more running outside to check the temperature every couple of minutes.

Quick tablet charging port fix
2 of 2 found this helpful My tablet had a broken charging port, so I ordered these micro USB boards to replace it. I only needed one, but the second one I, will keep as a spare. You simply solder them into where the battery connects to the motherboard. Then make a hole somewhere on the side to allow you to close the tablet back up, but still access the charging port. Although the tablet can no longer see that the battery is being charged (the software does not recognize the new port), there is an LED on the charging board which is red when charging and blue when the battery is fully charged, so you just plug it in and wait for the LED to turn blue.
The LED is plainly visible when the tablet is put back together.

Quick fix for my TV
The power board on my Sony KDL-32EX500 was defective, so I ordered this replacement part. It came fast and well packaged. After removing the back cover of the TV, it was just a matter of a few screws and four cables and the unit was back up running perfectly. Really easy to do with no soldering, so anybody can do it.
