Had my doubts...

I needed to rebuild the carburetor on my old Murray riding mower. Age and ethanol laced fuels had taken their respective tolls on it. I was honestly surprised when I found this complete replacement carburetor on eBay for almost the same price as a rebuild kit alone. Although I had my doubts that it would be a truly "perfect" replacement and that it would work as well as the original had, I was swayed by prior positive reviews which stated that this carburetor fit and functioned quite well. I went ahead and took the leap. I must say now that those reviews were quite accurate. I removed the old carburetor and bolted on the new one; a replacement mounting gasket was included. The fittings and linkages were an exact fit and everything matched up perfectly. Then to my added pleasant surprise the mower fired up on the very first twist of the key and ran smoothly throughout the throttle range! I did not have to make any adjustments AT ALL. In conclusion, if you are in need of a replacement carburetor like this one, I highly recommend that you consider it. It works!
