    The remote arrived well-packaged and as promised. After inserting the batteries also ordered through Ebay, the remote light flashed, so we knew it was working, but the remote would not operate our fan. We knew to check the "dip switches" in the remote (which have to match the transmitter) and by sheer luck, changed one setting and rather magically, the fan started up. We are VERY happy with this result. Saved us time, money and effort.
