The drum is as described and I am quite satisfied with the condition of the drum and the offer from the seller was too good to pass up. As to the strainer and muffler questions, what's important is that there are no extra holes in the shell and the parts, even if they are aftermarket, are the same if not better than the factory originals. High shipping cost was the downside. Otherwise, a great Ebay deal, A+.

A very good value!
Great price & very reasonable shipping! Even though it is only B8 alloy, it sounds about as good as the Meinl Classics Custom B10's!

Excellent Quality!
1 of 1 found this helpful I had to replace the BT-3 style tom bracket on my Slingerland drum set. I looked all over the internet and found that Pearl had the best quality for the lowest price! This bracket was easy to install and works just as the original did! It also has some better features than the original bracket and also the other after market brackets too. The isolation gasket & mounting plate is a great idea and the resonance of the drum has improved greatly! I highly recommend Pearl tom brackets over the competition!

A great pedal at a really great price!
2 of 2 found this helpful I got rid of my Iron Cobra, Gibraltar G Series, Demon Drive & DW pedals because of this! It is lightning fast, comfortable and ergonomic! The quality is there as well. It doesn't seem as substantial as the others as for its size it is pretty light. I just love this pedal! I have played Pearl pedals for over 40 years. I switched from Pearl to Tama and then Gibraltar G Series, then DW and lastly to Evolution Offset pedals! I've had them for months and they seem to get better the more I use them!
